As someone who’s on a path to radically alter her relationship with work by taking her first “slow”batical in 14 years, am such a big fan of your journey and how open and generous you have been in doing that! Super inspiring. Where can I learn more about StrategyU?
"We’re also in a nice stretch with our daughter where she reliably sleeps 12 hours a night and 3 hours during the day so there’s a bit of predictability in our weeks (which was not the case last year)"
I have a child about the same age and am a full-time SAHD, and this sounds like heaven. Over the past several weeks I am realistically only getting about one hour a day to myself.
Ahhhh I'm so stoked you wrote this!! Love the detail you went into day-by-day. and +1 on NSDRs. those are amazing
thanks for the shoutout :) 🫀
Love a little behind-the-scenes look! It’s especially useful as we start thinking about how we will go through our weeks with a kid.
I feel so fortunate to not have that thank God it’s Friday feeling as well.
You will do great!
I just spoke with a friend who works as a product manager and had a baby and is changing from full-time to 60%, and his partner will change to 50%.
Hearing that plus posts like this one about parenting help my partner and me decide whether we want to have a kid.
The details of these unconventional schedules are helpful.
WOW - nice man - love to hear it
Alex is the best!!!

Loved this format Paul. Cool to get a behind the scenes into your day to day. Sounds like quite the productive week!
